Colour Consciousness
Just as James Black sings in his ‘The Colour in Anything’, colour is the richness of life, yet we often take it for granted. We somehow forget that we see with color. There is an attriburption of color to things. Rose is mainly known for its image of colour red, snow always seems to be white. Some flowers and even moods are a color, like blue.
As an artist I recognised the importance of color and having worked with it for years, my connection deepened when my inner self unfolded. I don’t only see colour but feel it deep inside my being and appreciate its brightness and darkest hues and vibration.
In 2020 I had a privilege to attend a workshop with —Dr. Ruben Orellana, here is what he taught us about color:
“Colours are part of nature since the universe was created thanks to the photons, allowing us to distinguish between the different wavelengths (colours) that enable our Alkaline levels to be in balance.”
