A Deepening
’A Deepening’ is a state-consciousness video animation in collaboration with Mihaly Sipos and basis for the concept of Voice of Source wholistic system based on alchemy.
Initial research into Space Consciousness images:
The 💦state of all elements is spirit-guidance translated from a vision acquired from a shamanic journey that I’ve taken. Liquidity occurs when one is ready to merge with the element/form/knowledge provided be it a spirit animal or whatever else one meets and collects as a part of self-discovery in the none-ordinary reality’s travails.
‘A Deepening’ will be presented for the first time at the ’Forging the Self’ exhibition as part of a bigger mixed-media installation called ’ The Motherboard’.
I have been playing with different mediums from collage & photography to textiles and installation. What’s great about having this collaboration, is an opportunity to learn how animation speaks of moments within an image and how limited language is as a tool to translate the texture of movement.
The Making of ‘A Deepening’
In my practice, I work with the essence of things on the level of energy.
Having traveled on a shamanic journey, I was shown an ancient method of healing. Here are the drawings of what I recovered from it.
Alchemical studies always felt to be the original source of truth for me, the Mother of all belief systems. Corresponding to a lot of other ancient practices on astrology, herbalism, shamanism, alongside some of the latest teachings on consciousness, alchemy for me is often the underlying foundation of working with any matter or medium that allows itself to emerge intuitively.
Having invested in expanding my understanding of what ‘intuition’ means, I discovered that whatever one does is needed to essentially establish a deeper relationship with the self/consciousness, which are one and the same. It is this energy or one could say the emotional connection that is the continuous focus.
On behalf of Consciousness, we are here to further exercise an inquiry into the essence-connection of consciousnesses (plants, animals, minerals, water, space, etc) in an eternal process of discovery through a variety of means and tools we acquire along the way.
It is my belief that exploration of Consciousnesses and its Energy Field, the Deeper Essence of things re-connects us to our own Deeper Self. It is a place of healing.
To know it is to feel or better to BE it.
I do not separate the work as the Other nor attach it to the Self. It is both. An indivisible Whole.
🌎 is where we come from - the Soil, the bodily self (so I researched that)
🌙 is our emotional self, the movement, the mother - Moon
☀️ is our active self, what we produce/create into the world, the father - Sun
✨and finally Cosmos, the mercurial child birthed by all energies combines, the androgynous self also known in alchemy as the philosophers stone
