Spiralling Upwards and Outwards!

In 2018 I write down the idea of making an artwork on Centres of Vitality and Irrigation System of Vortexes or Whirlpools.
In 2019 I’m making mixed media work based on that idea, focusing on circular structure or spheres. Have a look at Dryad and a site-specific installation/tool meant to be used for purification called Vocal Vortex and later another mixed media work using embroidery titled Alchemical Angel
This focus on spirals, webs, chakras, vortexes, energy pools - the irrigational system of our bodies or spaces of power within the body, comes from looking at things and people beyond their form/ body and flesh. I m interested in the unseen and the unknown to the self.
In food you can see it clearly when buying Romanesco Cauliflower, in the Plant Kingdom Fern Shoots are a prime example and ocean shells are such a sight of beauty.
Humans replicate it in sites one surrounds him/herself with, which there are numerous examples like the one below: The Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda) stairs the gothic masterpiece in Valencia, Spain. Something so fundamental attracts us to the beautiful shape it creates.
If we look inside ourselves we will find it in the structure of our own DNA.
There are energies all around us. Human is like a sponge collecting a large conglomeration of them around and within its body. Meditating, being present or in the now, practicing chi gong creates a witness in you of these energies and develops your ability to almost see, move and work with them.
At the base of our spine, in the pelvic region, resides a coil. A coil of Kundalini the energy of Creation. It is connected to the spine and holds a lot of data. You can use it as a pendulum. If it vibrates you know you’re resonating.
In life tenancy of replicating itself, a great reference for that is film Annihilation.
So why spirals? What is it in it’s shape or one could even say/feel movement that the line creates? This word exactly...Creation, Fetus, Unraveling, Spiral, Coil...
How many spirals can you spot around you? Think both outside and inside, objects and places...
Are you getting what I m hinting at?
Maths was never created but discovered, which confirms the existence of a grid-like matrix and it’s calculus nature.

I imagine the vortex of creation is a rotating or moving spiral of a web of life ever-expanding….
This is why they say be careful what you wish for! So my darlings, be daring and be ready to play the game for the pleasure of playing and not for the end result as there is always will be smth else and smth else after that, which you will wish for...
