'Child's Play' an April Perin Wogenburg exhibition

In 2022 I have curated a show for an young artist April Peril Wogenburg…

PV: Friday 20 May 5-7pm

‘I watch a child drawing on the restaurant’s wall in front of me, how have I brought it into my reality so quickly after discussing April Perin Wogenburg’s takeover of the gallery walls before it’s makeover.

A play of naivety, boundless freedom, rebellious innocence and an exploration into the parent - child dynamics achieved through textiles, paintings, drawings describe the practice of this emerging queer artist.

Delightfully she will bring us experimental performance and a kiddish mural in a matter of 3 days. We all desire to step into our childlike innocence and freedom, drop the load of responsibilities of our inner parent and April will show us how it is done best in a equally child like space as the gallery will be 3 day’s old on the 20th of May. ‘
