Lord Shri Ram
Major Arcana - The Star
Zodiac sign - Aquarius
Meaning: Purity, Healing, Youthfulness, Uniqueness, BLue-Blooded, star Being
Depicted on the print is Shriram or Lord Rama, Vishnu’s 7th incarnation (1+6 = 7). He was born at 12:30pm on the 10th of January on 5114 BCE, this is the 9th day of increasing phase of the Moon. This day is celebrated with a festival commemorating Rama’s birth and means to be eternally young.
This fits the traditional meaning of the Star card so well since being a star and shinning bright with ones own uniqueness befits Ram’s blue-blooded or healing waters that run through his veins. How else would one remain eternally young? It is by being the fluid ocean him/herself. Rama the visionary, Rama the futurist of an immortal beauty.
The traditional meaning of this Major Arcana is Hope and Healing. Shinning bright like the Star, Aquarius always stands out due to their uniqueness, that brings attention due to their ability to take centre stage. Healthy lifestyle is also very important but also one focused on the future technology and otherworld. The STAR lives in Cosmos. It is an otherworldly being and we are not able to reach the stars unless we dream. A starry night brings out the mystery shows us the way and when a benevolent star shines its healing vibrations we are moved. Stars have guided our ancestors, they give us zodiac knowledge.
It is number 17, however since there are no numbers in our deck but if we had to, then it would be number 16 because the final card, the World is no number card and it comes before the Fool.
